Silect Software Enhances IT Productivity with New Management Solutions or Microsoft System Center Environments

Announces New Configuration Integrity Monitoring and Reporting Solution and New Releases of Popular MP Studio and CP Studio Products.

LAS VEGAS, NV.— Microsoft Management Summit 2010 – April 20, 2010 —Silect Software, Inc., a leading provider of deployment and management solutions for Microsoft System Center environments, today announced its newest product, ConfigWise – for Enterprise Configuration Integrity Monitoring and Reporting.  Silect also announced new releases of its popular MP Studio for System Center Operations Manager 2007 and CP Studio for System Center Configuration Manager 2007 and its Desired Configuration Management capabilities. These new product offerings further Silect’s commitment to helping customers reduce complexity, speed implementation, minimize risk and improve productivity when managing Microsoft System Center environments for greater customer satisfaction and ROI.

Silect will be exhibiting its product solutions including MP Studio, CP Studio and ConfigWise at the Microsoft Management Summit (MMS) in Las Vegas through April 22nd.  “With the increasing complexity of today’s physical and virtual IT infrastructures, companies are looking for new ways increase efficiency, enhance service delivery and improve the effectiveness of their IT infrastructure,” said Harold Dyck, President, Silect Software, Inc.  “Configuration drift and unauthorized configuration changes account for nearly 80% of all IT service outages. Silect’s new ConfigWise was created out of customer demand to know more about their enterprise configuration information, filling the need to quickly and easily detect the “What, Where, When and How” related to all configuration changes within their Microsoft environments.  ConfigWise delivers robust configuration change reporting, inventory analysis, desired state reporting, and configuration health monitoring and reporting of configuration changes and compliance.  With ConfigWise, users can:

Silect's popular MP Studio and CP Studio products are key components of managing any System Center Operations Manager and Configuration Manager/DCM infrastructure.  These innovative solutions enable users to efficiently manage Management Packs and Configuration Packs throughout their lifecycle, while avoiding costly errors that may impact availability of the production environment and maximize the time to value in realizing the benefits of Microsoft System Center.

Silect’s new “MP Studio Agent Explorer” capabilities included in MP Studio v4.2, allows users to easily view and export “What’s Running on my Server” to discover what Management Packs, rules, monitors, and overrides are running on any managed agent.  MP Studio greatly reduces the complexity of Management Pack authoring and customization and facilitates the management of these Management Pack changes throughout the lifecycle, with extensive capabilities for authoring, testing, tuning, version control, documentation and audit tracking.   

For Configuration Manager/DCM environments, version 3.0 of CP Studio will include further integration with System Center Configuration Manager to access installed CIs and Baselines.  CP studio significantly reduces the time and effort to implement Configuration Manager/DCM by reviewing, testing and optimizing Configuration Packs and analyzing their impact for improved results.

Silect MP Studio v4.2 is available now.  CP Studio v3.0 and ConfigWise v1.0 are currently available for limited release with general availability planned for May, 2010.
